Tyren is in the house

Hello World,

Well I know I am a little late getting this photo up but this is our newest addition. Tyren Dean Richard Corona. ( all our kids have 4 names), He was born on 12th February 2008 (which is also Jacksons birthday) at 12:57 pm wieghing in at 8.87 pounds. It was a very long labor and I ended up having an eppi. Why not God gave us the technoledgy for a reason right!!. I tried to go as long as possible 10 hours with gas but I just couldn't do it any longer. Everyone is home now and happy, I love that I breast feed because that is the only time I get to hold the baby. For those of you who don't check my mums blog please dont, she put the grossest picture of me on there with my bright red rash, which I am pleased to announce is already going away ( thankyou). I would just like to thank my mum and my freind simone who were great support people, they knew when to take the kids out and when to support me, and my husband who still wants to be married to me after the ordeal. Ill write again later when I have more pics. Have a good day.

40 weeks and counting

Well hello family and friends, just thought that I would give you all a quick update. I AM STILL PREGNANT!!!!! I don't remember what it feels like to be 40 weeks pregnant with the others. I think that because this is my last there is a little more focus on the time thing. Plus we had a plan with this baby, I was meant to have it last week so Dean could take off work for two weeks and look after the kids going back to school, you know uniforms, fees, supplies and so forth. And just as it looked like I was gonna have to do it: ( , Dean came home from work last night and said he was on two weeks leave now anyway, what a sweety. Maybe the pregnancy rash I have on my face was glowing with distress and he picked up on that : ). So I am not going to write again till I can post a photo of me holding my baby that will make me look terrible but I won't care. Hope you are all having a great week and talk to you soon!

Update

So I have had a productive two weeks. You all may think I am crazy and that my house is a mess, the reality of the Corona home life is this, I wash and hang and fold clothes, cook dinner for the whole house, which I like doing and feel good doing that. My kids are very good cleaners and know that things need to be picked up at a certain time of day, and good old Dean he does the rest. And the rest means everything in between and all house wives know that, that can be alot sometimes especially when there partner is away for 10 hours of the day working. Its acctually been a good pregnancy in that way everyone has let me wollow in self pitty. But the last two weeks have been unbearable. So what does one do that can't walk well and is waiting to give birth? in my case They craft. Since my last update Ididn't quite get to scrapbooking, but i did start and finish a few things, would you like to hear how crazy I am?....... I made a tie blanket for a couple at church who just had a baby boy, some booties and beanie for some other friends at church who just had a little girl, a cochet throw for the same couple I just made it on a different day. I printed off a skirt pattern from my friend Tonis blog, and made it and I actually wear it, two bags that I am obsessed with now and can't wait for my I mean Deans next pay to make some more, A floor blanket for my baby and am in the middle of crocheting a scripture cover for my poor scriptures that have seen better days, and today I am going to start my sisters quilt that I am actually really excited about. and if the baby decides to bot come before Saturday I should have the front pannel done. Stupid hey!!!! I just get obsessed and boared. But the rest of the family are great and are not dead from neglect. Hopefully next time I update you all there will be pictures on here of our new little addition. Cross your fingers for me and have a great week all.

zoo quilt

a friend from church gave me this cute zoo pannel of fabric a while ago so I decided to go ahead and make it up for my baby. I just quilted aroung the edges of the animals, backed it and put a boarder on. it turned out to be quite cute.

cotten throw

This is a blanket/little trow I made to go with the booties ad hat that I gave to Katherine ( see my mums blog for a picture of those). I love to crochet Its my favourite craft. normally a blanket like this would take me a month but this was done in a week and a half, hurry baby!

Yasmin, I mean Sherri's bag

This is the bag that I finished for my mum to give to my sister. Mum and I discovered the fabric shop in Latrobe and had soomee funnn therrre!! . I did think it was a little strange though that my mum was madly trying to match up fabric to make a nappy bag for my sister who lives in Ireland and not pregnant or think ing of having kids yet, but if you know my mum you don't argue. When we got home she was showing my other sister who is pregnant with her first child this lovely fabric with blue high lights that actually happens to be this sisters favourite colour. So Sherri proceded to tell mum that she actually really likes the fabric and could she make one for her after. So mum gets this brain wave that this bag could be for her !!!! well done mum. So anyway mum is actually such an accomplished sewer that she doesn't think she needs to read patterns. And the reason I finished it was because she had unpicked it 3 times already trying to figure out how to put the lining in. Pore bag on the inside of this thing there is so much cotten.

My bag

This is the bag I made for myself, And I really shouldn't have done it while I was 39 weeks pregnant. I cut the pieces for the main outside parts of the bag, (you know the most expensive fabric you buy for the showy part) an opened it up and realized I put the fold on the wrong side so I had these two pieces that had handles coming up the middle not the side like you see. So I put one side down and tried to figure out how to fix this. It was actually not that hard to fit other pieces to it to make it work , so I was then looking around for a piece of fabric in the red to cut out a new handle piece and found this nice big bit that i thought id over looked, I was so happy. ( I actually thought I was cleaver ) So I cut the piece I needed and went to do the other side and realized that I had cut up the other side of the bag, what an idiot!!! so as the picture shows some how I managed to piece together cut offs to make this bag, it doesn't look too bad but at $22 a metre I wasn't gonna let this bag get the better of me. Ha!
